Nvard Stepanyan

Biography

I am Nvard Stepanyan. I was born on June 16th , 1990, Yerevan, Armenia. From 2009-2013 I studied at Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, Department of opera performance.Alongside of my studies I have been a solist of “Arahet”, “Kantegh”   and “Art” Choirs. I have been singing in the “ Kantegh”  choir and been in concert in various concert halls of Armenia as well as participated in the works of the albumsrelease. From 2016-2018 I studied at Russian GnesinsAccademy (master degree) at class of the famous opera singer Irina Dolzhenko. From 2018-2020 I studied at Russian GnesinsAcademy (assistant-intership).I have also taken part in different (international)  vocal’/opera contest . In 2011 I took part in “Renesance” international competition and won the Judges` Award. In 2013 I participated in the same competation a second time and finished third. In  2017 I won third prize of the international vocal competition after name of I. O. Dunaevskiyand also took the Judges` award. In 2019 I took part in international opera competition after name of Galina Vishnevskaya. In 2020 I won the first prize at  the “ PlanetaDarovaniy” international contest. In  2021 I won the special prize and diploma in “Donawelle” international competition. In 2021  I won the special prize and Diploma in “ Eolva Arpha” opera international  competition at  Pyatigorsks opera theatre. In 2022 I won the third prize in “ London opera competition”. In 2022 I took part in opera program which organized by the “ Elena Obraztsova” foundation. I have performed in various concert halls in Russia, Armenia and Austria. During my education at Yerevan State Conservatory I performed  the role  of Fraskita  from the opera    “Carmen”  G. Bizet  (  at Opera studio of Yerevan State Conservatory) “  (2013). In 2010 I participated in the performance of the opera “Il campanello”G.Donizetti. I 2017 I participated at the performance of the opera M. Waymberg “Passangers” at “Novaya Opera” after name of E.V.Kolobov. In 2018 I performed the role of Musettaat the Gensin’s Academy opera studioafter name of Y.A. Speranskiy. In 2019 I performed the role of Pamina from the opera W.A.Mozart “ The Magic flute”  at the Gensin’s Academy opera studio after name of Y.A. Speranskiy. I took part in various opera master classes by many outstanding and famous musicians: Ramon De Andreas, Gegham Grigoryan, Ricardo Maschia, Kristina Mkhitaran, Dmitri Vdovin, Yuli Khomenko, Juliana Panza, Massimo Giudetti, Claudia Rondeli, Bernard Adler, Christina Hosfald, Oleg Ptashkov, Henk Neven, Marcel Reiyjans, Charlotte Riedjek, Veronika Joieva, Stella Motinaa, Sofia Fomina.
