Biography
Lu Hongjian was born in 1989 in Shanghai, China. From 2009 to 2014, he studied in the Department of vocal music and opera of Shanghai Conservatory of music and studied under Professor Zhou Zheng. From 2015 to 2017, he studied in the Department of vocal music and opera of the national Florence Conservatory of music, Italy, under Professor Leonardo Delisi. He is currently working in East China Theological Seminary as a lecturer in vocal music.
In 2010, he participated in Wagner's opera the ring of Nibelungen, which was organized by Shanghai Grand Theatre and Cologne opera house in Germany.
In 2011, he participated in Zhou Xiaoyan's international vocal music master class and received the guidance of Michela sbulati, an Italian soprano, and won praise. He also participated in the 2013 New Year's "Golden Snake Dance" concert as a solo. In the summer of 2013, he participated in the summer master class of Zhou Xiaoyan Opera Center and completed the summer master class with the famous German pianist Burkhard kehring and the piano accompaniment art director Mariana popova. In 2014, invited by the famous musician and composer Tan Dun, he performed the large-scale symphonic epic "blan's poem" in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra as a concert soloist. In the same year, he cooperated with the famous soprano Li Xiuying, Professor of the Department of vocal music of Shanghai Conservatory of music, to perform Puccini's Opera Madame Butterfly and played Pinkerton in the opera. In 2016, he acted as a tenor soloist in the concert of "good news".
In March 2017, he participated in the "distant stars" charity concert for autistic children and served as a concert soloist. In 2017, as a chorus conductor, he led the "overseas Chinese family" choir to participate in the "Shanghai citizens' Cultural Festival - the third Rongyi cup chorus competition" and won the gold medal. In January 2018, he held a concert with the Shanghai National Orchestra and acted as a tenor solo in the concert. In May and October 2021, he participated in Shanghai TV station and SMG Group recorded a series of concerts of "my heart builds the Great Wall" and "red flag song large symphony concert", and acted as a concert soloist.
In 2007 and 2008, he won the "Tang Junyuan scholarship". In 2013, he won the "outstanding professional individual award" of the people's scholarship of Shanghai Conservatory of music. In 2019, he won the grand prize of the "Puccini" international vocal Opera Competition
