Emily Summers

Biography

Emily Summers is a New York based Operatic Soprano who graduated from the University of Southern California in 2020 and is currently pursuing her masters at the Mannes School of Music. Passionate about classical and new opera, she has sung a variety of new works including crossing over into musical theater. Her most recent performances include being a featured soloist in the 80th anniversary concert of Bohuslav Martinu at the Bohemian National Hall, St. Holy St. Francis's Trainer in David T. Little's Vinkensport, and Hildegarde's Eye in Mannes Opera's production of In the Green by Grace McLean. She has also performed Il Destino in Francesco Cavalli's La Calisto, Seña Rita in Tomás Bretón's La Verbena de la Paloma, and Julie in Michael Ching's Speed Dating Tonight.
