Andriy Bilan

Biography

I was born in a beautiful city of Kolomyia in Ukraine. 

Singing was always part of my surroundings as my dad and grandmother had great voices. I sang from a very young age. 

At the age of 11 my family and I moved to Canada, where I went to school and graduated from high school at the age of 18. 

After that I left Canada and went back to Ukraine to study voice. I went on to get my BA in Performance in Lviv National Music Academy. 

After that I worked in Kunming Philharmonics in China. 

And then in Dnipro Theatre of Opera and Ballet. 

I also became a member of Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmonics in Ukraine, where I performed a number of Italian and French roles. 

The war of this year has got me going back to Canada and starting everything from the beginning here in North America. I'm looking forward to new opportunities and projects!
