Biography
Beatriz is an emerging soprano. She debuted as Maman and Libellule in L’ENFANT ET
LES SORTILÉGES 2018. In 2022 she debuted as Donna Anna in the Act II of Opera Co Pro’s
DON GIOVANNI in London and as Rusalka from RUSALKA in a concert version in the European
Music Academy Teplice at the Krušnohorské Theater. In December 2022 she portrayed Miss Baggot
in Britten’s THE LITTLE SWEEP in Teatro José Lúcio da Silva in Leiria.
She debuted as Miss Baggot Britten’s THE LITTLE SWEEP (2019), debuted as Contessa in
LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (2020) and debuted as Dritte Dame in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE (2021). She
sang the concert piece In Principium by composer Luís Cardoso in 2021. She sang Rusalka’s main
aria in the Laureate’s Concert of Nouvelles Étoiles Competition in November 2022 in Paris,
France. She sang Mascagni’s Ave Maria as a soloist in December of the same year in Portugal.
She won a few prizes: first prize in the Singing Competition of the Porto Music
Conservatoire in 2019, third prize ex-aequo in 2018 and second prize ex-aequo in 2020. In the
National competition of Music Conservatoires she won third prize ex-aequo in 2019. Internationally
she won an Honorable mention in the Young Category of the Neapolitan Masters Competition
2021. In 2022 she won First place in the King’s Peak International Competition Spring Edition,
the First Laureate Prize in the Cyprus International Music Competition, the Second Prize in the
Giovani in Crescendo Competition, the Fifth Prize in the Virtuoso Category of Mimas Music
Festival Competition, the First Prize in the IMKA Competition, the Bronze Prize in the
Professional Category of AIMA awards and the First Laureate Prize in the Nouvelles Étoiles
Competition.
Beatriz had masterclasses with Ambra Sorrentino, Eleonora Pacetti, Eva Randová, Jaume
Aragall, Juan Lomba, Juhan Tralla, Armando Possante and Mireia Pintó. She holds a high
school degree in acting and did a semester in Bollywood Dancing. Currently she just finished the
Classical Singing Bachelor degree in Aveiro in the class of Isabel Alcobia and is continuing the
Master of Music, after having done three years of Classical Singing in Porto Music Conservatoire
in the classes of Palmira Troufa and Cecília Fontes. She also did a workshop in Voice Over and
Voice Acting in Vocare Conservatoire in Porto.
As a choral singer she sang opera Choruses of Verdi in 2023 in an Opera Gala in Aveiro and
Viseu, Holst’s Planets in Teatro Aveirense and Brahm’s Ein deutsches Requiem in Leiria both in
2022
